Durable Superior Casters is a family-owned manufacturer and supplier of casters, wheels, yokes, and related components for industrial, institutional, and specialized applications. With products engineered for everything from lightweight equipment to demanding heavy-duty environments, the company has built an extensive catalog designed to solve highly specific mobility challenges.
Lounge Lizard was brought in to create a digital experience that could translate that depth into a website customers could actually navigate. The project focused on making a highly technical product offering easier to understand, search, and explore, while strengthening the digital representation of Durable Superior’s engineering expertise and long-standing position in the industry.
Durable Superior’s product depth created a unique UX challenge. Some customers arrive with an exact part number or technical specification, while others search by load capacity, environment, application, wheel type, or industry. The website needed to support both journeys without forcing users through an overly complicated product catalog.
The objective was to organize a vast amount of product and technical information into a more intuitive digital experience. Lounge Lizard structured the experience around product discovery, giving users multiple pathways into Durable Superior’s extensive catalog. Products are organized across casters, wheels, yokes, hardware, and accessories. At the same time, application-based content helps customers explore solutions based on the environments and industries in which the products will be used. Quick-search functionality also supports customers who already know the specific part they need.
The wider digital experience balances detailed technical information with a cleaner, more visual brand presentation. Product specifications, CAD resources, engineering information, featured solutions, and industry applications are organized to make complex information easier to access without sacrificing technical depth. Responsive layouts and streamlined navigation help customers move efficiently between product research, technical resources, and relevant solutions across desktop and mobile devices.
The redesigned digital experience gave Durable Superior a stronger foundation for presenting one of its greatest strengths: the depth and flexibility of its product offering.
