Objective

Despite their national footprint, OpenWorks faced a digital bottleneck. Their existing Webflow environment had become difficult to scale and failed to communicate the dual nature of their business: providing elite facility services to customers while attracting high-caliber franchise partners. The mission was to:

  • Establish National Authority: Transition the brand from “local provider” to “nationwide facility partner” through a sophisticated, high-end visual narrative.
  • Synchronize Lead Intelligence: Better integrate with HubSpot to route and tag leads by state for both B2B customers and franchise prospects.
  • Modernize the Infrastructure: Migrate from a restrictive legacy build to a flexible, scalable WordPress environment.
  • Navigate Complex Compliance: Ensure the platform met the rigorous standards of CCPA, GDPR, and ADA/WCAG compliance required for their diverse, multi-state operation.

Approach

Lounge Lizard implemented a highly agile “Content-Sync” strategy. Because new brand messaging was being developed concurrently by a third-party agency, we built a flexible, component-based design system that could be refined as the final narrative was finalized.

  • The Migration Advantage: Moving off Webflow allowed us to build a more robust, SEO-optimized framework that supports the massive amount of content needed to dominate facility management search results.
  • Compliance Integration: Using tools such as Termly and UserWay, we built a “privacy-first” infrastructure that handles the nuances of CCPA and GDPR without sacrificing site speed or user experience.
  • Visual Sophistication: We replaced the fragmented look of the old site with a cinematic, modern aesthetic that highlights OpenWorks’ ethos.

Impact

The result is a definitive digital flagship that matches OpenWorks’ status as an industry powerhouse. By clarifying the “entrepreneurial approach” and the distinction between services and franchising, the new platform provides a frictionless path for two very different target audiences.
