‘Scentsational’ e-commerce website crafted for candle company

Scentsational Soaps & Candles, Inc. is a family business pouring candles since 1998. Their craft candles can be purchased online or in stores such as HomeGoods, Marshalls, and T.J. Maxx. 

The company’s old website no longer made “scents” for the ever-evolving business. They contacted the Brandtenders at Lounge Lizard Worldwide to ignite a new look and implement user-friendly online features for consumers and wholesalers.

“Lounge Lizard transformed our archaic website into something modern, functional, and customer-friendly,” says an executive at Scentsational. “Our brand came alive and our e-commerce sales have reflected the positive growth.”

The new Scentsational website uses UX/UI design and content to evoke a sense of home – calming yet energizing. Definitely welcoming.

Originally a handmade scented soap company that later incorporated candles, Scentsational has rebranded to include only candles. The company blends soy, coconut, and beeswax, adds a lead-free wick, and creates a clean-burning, delightfully scented candle for any space and occasion.

The modern lifestyle website design showcases the Scentsational’s candles in a user-friendly way, including “Fragrance Notes,” where you can learn details about each candle and get a sense of the passion that went into crafting it.

Shoppers can now easily find the scent, style, and price they are looking for and browse trendy candles and deals. Wholesalers can log into their portal to get pricing and see inventory at a glance.

E-commerce is all about giving website visitors an experience they enjoy and remember. An e-commerce website should be easy to navigate, mobile-friendly, optimized for speed and Core Web Vitals, include the shipping and return policies, and showcase reviews.
