Gen II Fund is a private equity fund administration company that offers an unparalleled perspective in PE fund administration. By seamlessly managing back-office functions, they offer a comprehensive and complete solution for clients across a range of asset classes.

JOURNEY

Objective

Gen II Fund enlisted the Marketing Mixologists at Lounge Lizard Worldwide to grow their brand awareness across paid and organic channels, as well as support the launch of their proprietary analytics software, Sensr, and produce leads for career recruitment.

Approach

The paid media and search engine optimization teams at Lounge Lizard collaborated to produce a 6-month plan to produce big results. We collaborated with Gen II Fund’s development team to launch a new, multi-page website to set the stage for premier SEO tactics. Key approaches included adapting the website to meet Core Web Vital standards, implementing on-page SEO, producing updated content, and remediating a toxic backlink profile. Our teams pivoted quickly to adapt the SEO strategy to meet two huge Google algorithm updates, including the Helpful Content Update, during this timeframe. The approach for paid media included overhauling the existing campaigns – with more relevant search terms, keywords, ad copy, and landing pages. New campaigns were created to promote Sensr and to adapt to the new website. Progress for Gen II Fund digital marketing isn’t over yet – we’re rolling out continued strategy and new campaigns every month. The Mixologists also optimized Gen II Fund’s Google Business Profiles for 7 locations and post content to improve local SEO.
