Campervan Iceland started some branding on its website, but the company needed more bookings. They came to Lounge Lizard Worldwide to create a stronger call to action within the homepage design and elevate their existing branded elements for an approachable, mobile-friendly website that encouraged more website traffic and brand recognition.

Travelers who rent campers and motorhomes from Campervan Iceland are typically those getting ready to explore everything Iceland offers. We’re talking about volcanoes and lava fields, Viking ruins, hot springs, and massive glaciers.

Needless to say, Campervan Iceland is all about new experiences, and the Brandtenders at Lounge Lizard were all packed and ready to take Campervan Iceland’s website to new heights.

Our Brandtenders built the website for Campervan Iceland’s sister company Reykjavík Cars, but the two companies have entirely different personas and branding.

How does that translate when it comes to web design?

Our Brandtenders took a road full of mood boards with bubbly fonts, elaborate animations, custom illustrations, and elements that make using the website a fun adventure.

We worked with Campervan Iceland’s creative team on graphics to accentuate the existing branding of bright colors, such as lime green and orange. Hot air balloons bounce on the page while clouds float above what represents the well-known mountain ranges in Iceland (the F-roads on Kerlingarfjoll are ready to explore in the right vehicle).

Even the orange “Book Now” widgets with a campervan favicon icon are fun as they follow visitors down the page.

The new website for Campervan Iceland also conveys something about their experienced team:
