Call Center Website Brings Back Human Factor

A man leaning on a table looks at the SaviLinx website on his smartphone.

Old imagery. Stock website template. Unengaging messaging.

The team at SaviLinx had the savviness to know their website was holding them back.

Within three months of launching a redesigned website created by the Brandtenders at Lounge Lizard, website traffic increased by more than 50 percent.

“Savi’s website was woefully out of date and didn’t reflect the company we have become,” says a SaviLinx executive. “We clicked with the Lounge Lizard team from the start. They engaged with our brand and dug deep to help us define the core messaging we needed to stand out in a competitive market. The team crafted a value statement that truly represents Savi, a design that is warm and personal, and copy that is compelling.”

SaviLinx is a contact call center that combines omnichannel technologies with the human element to deliver customer experiences for government and businesses.

After meeting with SaviLinx executives, the Brandtenders knew Savi’s company culture, customer-centric service, and technology offerings were not reflected on their old website. As a website built on a stock template with stock images, the website was bland, hard to navigate, and did not set itself apart from its competitors.

Here are just a few ways that Lounge Lizard Brandtenders crafted a user-friendly and engaging website for SaviLinx to increase visitors, lower bounce rate, improve online brand identity, and, thus, increase form fills and sales:

  • Savi’s call center experience is all about the human connection. While others in the industry solely focus on technology, Savi recognizes that technology is not always a replacement for the human factor when solving consumer concerns. This is an important factor throughout the new website and can be seen in photos, custom graphics, and compelling copy.
  • Brandtenders added a sticky widget in the center of the page to make contacting SaviLinx easy for website visitors whenever they are ready. A sticky widget in WordPress is a button or icon that’s locked into place, so when a user scrolls down the webpage, it doesn’t disappear. This increases user functionality, makes accessibility a breeze, and increases the chance for a connection.
  • SaviLinx’s old website did not pass Google’s Core Web Vitals, which is always a top priority with any website that Lounge Lizard completes. The Core Web Vitals are a set of user-focused metrics designed to measure a website’s overall health in providing a seamless user experience. Metrics include content loading speed, interactivity, and visual stability. When a website passes the metrics, this also can help improve a website’s visibility and ranking in browsers.
  • SaviLinx sought to not only attract government and business clients, they also wanted to be seen by prospective employees. So, in addition to showing potential clients what separates them from their competition and why their services are top-notch, the website also showcases current employees and what makes them a great place to work if you are a people person.

With any professional website redesign, it’s always essential to show company culture and the human side of the business. In this case, be on the lookout for a few references to the company cats — Savi and Linx!
