Christmas is just around the corner which means this is the perfect time to post our list of the Top 10 Coolest tech gadgets for the holidays. As a mobile app developer we have quite a few tech geeks on staff and they regularly search out the newest, most interesting items to use not only for work but for play.

As gift ideas can sometimes be hard to come by, we wanted to share our knowledge and insights to provide you with some great options for the tech lover in your life. This year there are a bunch of phenomenal tech gadgets and toys, but these are the ones we found the most appealing with decent price points.

On its own it can respond to voice commands for answering questions, playing music and of course, ordering things from Amazon. But you can also connect it to other smart devices like TVs, thermostats and more allowing you one central voice command control piece.
  2. Samsung Gear VR – Virtual Reality is a hot topic this holiday season and there are a lot of pricey options out there like the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. However for someone with a Samsung phone, the Gear VR is a well-priced headset that offers a rich selection of fun games and entertainment experiences. That works with most of Samsung’s newer devices.
  3. JBL Charge 2 – Need something small and portable to help provide room-filling sounds? Look no further than the highly rated JBL Charge 2. This Bluetooth speak has dual drivers with twin passive radiators for great sounds with solid base tones. It lasts 12 hours on a full charge and even has a USB port in case you need to charge something else.
