Innovative New DVD And Video Game Trading Site Offers Customers Variety, Trade-In Value, Legal Media Ownership

(www.loungelizard.com) today announced the launch of Imongr.com, a new movie and video game trading service that promises, among other things, legal user ownership of the media that they choose to trade. The website, located at www.imongr.com, was developed by Lounge Lizard Worldwide, which is also managing marketing strategy and implementation for the launch.

After signing up for one of Imongr’s monthly subscription plans, members are able to turn in their unwanted music CDs, movie (Widescreen DVD, BluRay) and video game (PlayStation 3, Wii and XBox 360 only) media for trade-in points. Points can then be redeemed for new and used titles from Imongr’s inventory. Members may also opt to register for Imongr’s Fast Trax program, purchasing points directly from Imongr and getting started without first trading in their own discs. Media is shipped to members and returned to Imongr using pre-paid mailer envelopes.
Developed by Lounge Lizard Worldwide using open source software platforms CakePHP and MySQL and leveraging Macrovision’s Allmusic/AMG media content database, Imongr.com features sophisticated media search, queuing and quality flagging capabilities, in addition to their comprehensive database of film and game media.
